AMP acquired the Portsmouth operations of RDS of Virginia, LLC in 2025, bringing together decades of local recycling expertise with AMP’s advanced sortation technology and operational capabilities.
Serving South Hampton Roads since 2005, RDS Portsmouth includes both a municipal solid waste (MSW) processing facility and a single-stream recycling facility. As part of AMP, these operations are positioned to drive continued innovation and expand recycling and resource recovery across the region.
