A Letter from AMP's CEO on COVID-19
A Letter to Our Customers and Partners
As COVID-19 is top of mind for all of us, I want to personally update you on the action AMP Robotics is taking to address the situation.
Before sharing more about our plans, please know that our thoughts are with all who've been either directly or indirectly impacted by the coronavirus. Like many of us, I personally have several at-risk family members and take the consequences of this outbreak very seriously. We share the concerns for all of our friends, families, and communities.
Here’s what AMP is doing.
Adapting to the challenge.
As a technology company, we’re fortunate to have previously invested in systems and processes to make a virtual workplace successful. This has helped us pivot our team relatively quickly to work from home with minimal interruption in communication, maintaining ongoing collaboration and the pace of A.I. and robotics innovation for material recovery facilities. We’re doing everything we can to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for our team, while providing the best possible service to you.
Protecting our team.
We’ve taken swift action to protect our teammates and their families. In addition to initiating remote work policies, we’ve implemented flexible scheduling. And we’ve restricted all non-essential travel and in-person meetings.
For our onsite manufacturing team, we’ve shifted workload between redundant locations, instituted safety protocols that include split-shifts to create smaller work groups, provided additional personal protective equipment, and implemented high-frequency disinfectant procedures in all of our facilities.
Being there for you.
Service and communication is our top priority. First and foremost, if you need any help, please call us at (888) 402-1686 or contact the AMP Support Team online.
With many new systems planned for installation, we’re closely monitoring both government directives and travel restrictions that might affect project plans. We’re in close contact with our supply chain partners who are scaling to meet our rapid growth - understanding any challenges that they might face during this time.
We’re committed to partnering with you on any specific workplace policies that you might have, while taking into account internal and external factors to jointly plan a new course of action. Our account teams are actively reaching out and will coordinate these efforts with you.
Continuing to monitor the situation.
We’ll continue to closely monitor guidance from the CDC, as well as direction from federal, state, and local authorities. And we’ll keep you updated on any other developments in our business that might result.
We’re committed to your success and helping you navigate these challenging times. We’ll accomplish this through technology and our people. Relationships mean everything to us here at AMP. And while the way we do business might change, at least temporarily, our dedication to you won’t.
Sincerely,
Matanya Horowitz, PhD
