AMP Named to 2026 Global Cleantech 100
Seventh consecutive year of recognition earns company induction into Hall of Fame
DENVER, JANUARY 14, 2026—AMP Robotics Corporation (“AMP”), a leading provider of high-technology sorting solutions for the waste and recycling industry, has been named to Cleantech Group’s 2026 Global Cleantech 100 for the seventh consecutive year as well as the Hall of Fame.
This annual list recognizes companies poised to deliver market-ready solutions that advance a cleaner, more resilient global future. Now in its 17th year, the report highlights innovators addressing some of the world’s most urgent environmental and infrastructure challenges. The Hall of Fame, meanwhile, recognizes the achievements of the few companies whose sustained excellence over many years resulted in being on the Global Cleantech 100 list an impressive seven times.
Following a 2025 marked by geopolitical volatility and shifting economic signals, the global cleantech ecosystem enters 2026 with slightly greater certainty—yet heightened competitive pressure. Growth is concentrating around two dominant themes: AI infrastructure and critical minerals.
Despite headwinds, long-term indicators remain encouraging. When viewed over the past decade, venture investment levels—often a proxy for growth expectations—show the themes remain significantly more robust than ten years ago and continue to outperform pre-pandemic norms.
“This year’s Global Cleantech 100 reflects a market in transition—one that is becoming more disciplined, more discerning, and ultimately more resilient. While the adjustment phase has been painful for some parts of the ecosystem, we are also witnessing remarkable bursts of innovation responding to new sources of demand, from AI-driven power needs to critical materials security,” remarked Richard Youngman, CEO at Cleantech Group.
AMP CEO Tim Stuart added, “We see AI-powered recycling as a cornerstone of the cleantech revolution. Traditional recycling systems have long struggled with inefficiencies, stagnating recovery rates, and rising costs—challenges that stand in the way of a truly circular economy. By harnessing advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning to dramatically improve material recognition, sortation accuracy, and operational throughput, we’re redefining resource recovery. The ability of our technology to extract value from waste at scale—reducing landfill burden, lowering emissions, and unlocking new streams of reusable materials—reflects the broader shift in cleantech toward solutions that are both economically viable and environmentally transformative.”
Featured companies will be recognized at the Cleantech Forum North America, taking place Jan. 26-28 in San Diego. AMP Founder and Chief Technology Officer Matanya Horowitz is among the industry experts who will address attendees on the event’s opening day.
