Amir Moftakhar serves as chief financial officer for AMP, where he leads accounting, finance, project finance, and M&A. He is an experienced public and private company CFO with extensive experience in energy, utilities, energy transition, and technology. Moftakhar started his career in banking and corporate finance with companies including Bank of America, Cox Communications, and Sempra Energy before transitioning to multiple CFO roles with venture-backed companies. He has extensive experience with fundraising, including leading an initial public offering for ESS Tech, Inc. (NYSE: GWH)

Moftakhar holds a bachelor's degree from University of California, Davis, a master's degree is business administration from Pepperdine University, and a master's degree in organizational leadership from the University of Southern California.
